Hey everyone! How is everying going? Hope all is well. Any ways lets get into this email! Last pday was super fun. All of the zone went to Escazu to do a gift exchange and lunch, we had ham, pinto, and eggs. Then we played handball with everyone. After pday, we went to Ulesi's house and they made us food! Christmas Eve was good! We went to lunch, and then went to La Carpio with Wendy and Natasha. We went to visit some of the recent converts of the late elder oliva. They are super nice and also made us food. Then later that night we invited our friend Belen to be baptized in January and she said yes! Well that was my last christmas in the mission, that's pretty crazy. It was super fun we went to Natasha's house and had some super good food, had a gift exchange, and played some intense games of janga. Hows everyone doing? I hope all is well and you are reading your scriptures! Well heres the email so lets get into it ! Last pday went by fast, I dont remember what happened but we went to Escazu. When pday ended, we meet up with a guy named with Ricardo. It was my first time meeting him but the spirit was there and we put a baptismal date with him for january! Then we went to Ulesi's house and she made us empanadas and agua dulce! Tuesday was good, after distritct councel Elder Gardner had a meeting over Zoom so I waited in the office. While I was waiting, president maddux was doing intwerviews. When he finished up one, he saw that I was sitting there studying and he called me into his office. He told me that I might not be finishing the training of Elder Gardner. That for health reasons of a other missionary, we would have a emergency transfer. President said he´d let me know so me and gardner went to La Carpio as normal then we got said call and had to take the bus back home to ...

How's everyone doing? Hope all is well and you're having a great day. I'm writing this email pretty fast, so here we go. Last pday was fun. Did a bit of thrifting and bought some random gifts for a few white elegant gift exchanges that are coming up. Then we played some handball in Escazú. On Tuesday, we got a super awesome member reference and taught her about the Book of Mormon and the restoration. She is super interested! Wednesday was awesome. President Maddux got permission to have the mission be able to go to the temple for Christmas! The temple isn't big enough for the whole mission at the same time, so 3 zones went one week, and the other 3 the week after. Then we took a bus to the chapel en Escazú, it took almost 2 hours because of the traffic and the driver took a wrong turn. Elder Gardner got to meet his mission grandfather, Elder Scott. Then we had a zone conference and played minute to win it games and the Madduxs gave all of the Elders ties from Guatemala!...

How's everyone doing this fine day? Costa Rica is good. San Jose is super busy, lots of homeless people. Last pday was pretty chill. We went to escazu, then walked to Walmart to buy groceries and then hung out. I bought some Mate and now im addicted. Had a really good lesson about the plan of salvacion with our friend Natasha. Then we tried knocking some doors but no one was home. We had exchanges with the zone leaders. I went to Hatillo with Elder Taylor and Elder Threlfall came to Don Bosco with Elder Gardner. Fun day, we had a service project and cut down some weeds with machetes, we got attacked by mosquitoes so my arms are covered in bites. The exchanges went well, had some super good lessons. We had Wendy come with us on visits for 4 days straight and had some super spiritual lessons. Good afternoon everyone! How's everything going? Hope all is well. This week has been good. Ran into some fun things this week. Last pday we went to escazu and played some soccer, bought mate, then played some handball. Obviously we went to La Carpio and survived, God is with us. We got to know some of the members there and they'll help us out a bunch helping people to get to church. Then talked to some cops with AR's who were looking for drug dealers. Doing service is pretty easy this kinda year, lots of Christmas lights going up! Traffic has been crazy.
