Heredia Week 11
Hey everyone!
Here’s a quick update on my week!
Monday was pretty normal—everyone did their own thing, so we went to the church to play soccer and basketball by ourselves. Later, we had a lesson with our friend Reynel.
Tuesday was pretty uneventful. We had district council and then spent the rest of the day contacting.
Wednesday I had my final interview with President Maddux. He gave me a lot of awesome advice for life after the mission. For lunch, we had Caribbean rice and beans before sitting through a 5-hour training with the assistants to the president. We got Papa John’s afterward, which was a nice treat.
Thursday we were trying to make up for the time we lost in interviews and the training. Lots and lots of finding. The highlight was definitely putting a baptismal date with Reynel!
Friday we visited a referral’s house and ended up teaching a bunch of different things. They even gave us lunch, which was super nice. After that, we did more finding until our mission coordination meeting.
Saturday we tried to make a lot of plans with our friends, but either they couldn’t come to church on Sunday or just didn’t answer. Not being able to set up good plans with them really affected our church attendance—but we’ll bounce back for my last Sunday!
