Heredia Week 10
Good morning everyone, I hope all is well! Here’s a quick update on my week:
Last P-day went pretty normally here. All the other areas canceled last minute, so we just ended up hanging out at the church. I did get to practice a bit of soccer and basketball, which was nice.
With the recent schedule change, we’ve moved our weekly planning to Monday, so it felt almost like a full-day P-day.
On Tuesday, we had district council, but everyone was tired and sick, so it was pretty low energy. We still had some really good lessons with members. The rain that day was really strange—you could take one step to the right and be completely soaked, then step to the left and stay dry. It was like a literal wall of rain.
Wednesday was supposed to be a day of finding, but we ended up having several great lessons instead. For dinner, a member gave us P.F. Chang’s, which was incredible.
On Thursday, we did a blitz in both San Rafael and San Isidro, so we weren’t in our area at all.
Friday, we had a lesson with the boyfriend of a member that covered just about every gospel topic you could think of. We were able to help him clear up a lot of doubts. He wants to be baptized, but he’d like to understand more before taking that step.
Saturday brought some crazy rain, which made contacting difficult—no one likes to come out of their house when it’s pouring.
Sunday was full of meetings, as usual, and we ended the day with dinner at the Elder’s Quorum President’s home.
Thanks for reading! Wishing you all a great week ahead.
