Heredia Week 6

Hey everyone, sorry for the delayed email! Here’s how the week went:

On P-day, we just hung out and played a bit of basketball—nothing too eventful. After P-day, we had a bit of Bible bashing, but it was the most well-mannered Bible bashing I’ve ever seen. You never know what you'll find while knocking on doors, I guess.

It was one of the sisters’ birthdays on Tuesday, so we all chipped in for a cake during district council. After that, all our lessons fell through, so we knocked on a bunch of doors. Thankfully, some members gave us pizza for dinner.

On Wednesday, we had a blitz with the zone leaders to boost our area a bit. It rained a bunch, but we found some awesome people—so we’ll see if they progress!

Thursday, we finally got a new washer. The old one was falling apart. We also talked to Daniel about baptism again, but he says he wants his own “pillar of light” to confirm it’s the right thing to do. That night, we had a really fun dinner with a less active couple. The husband isn’t a member, but he’s been coming to church for several weeks now, so we’re going to see if he’s interested in baptism.

Friday was pretty normal. We realized the new washer doesn’t drain, so we had to throw it on top of a nightstand because it doesn’t have a pump to get the water out. Later, we had a basketball activity with the ward, which was really fun.

The rainy season is officially back, so we’re constantly soaked—even with rain gear.

We had transfer meeting on Sunday. I’ll be finishing the mission here in Heredia!
