Its Been A Week

How is everyone doing? I hope all is well and you are all reading your scriptures. This week we finished up most of the stuff we had to do for transfers so I can actually write an email. This week we had to do a lot of contacting because none of our friends that we were teaching showed up to church. We had about 12 people that told us they were on their way to church but just never showed up and didn't decide to call us back when we tried to find out what happened. So we've knocked a lot of doors with not a ton of success. We did get to play ping pong last sunday after church.

Transfers were absolutely crazy. We were supposed to get the photos of who's going where in the morning on Sunday so we could have all of the travels, bus tickets bought and a list created for all of the missionaries so they could know what they were doing. What ended up happening was that we didn't get the photos in the morning so we went out to work and we get a call that President would send them at 5pm so we walk back down to the church and are all ready to plan all of the travels at 4:45pm but we ended up waiting until about 8pm for the pictures and had about a hour Sunday night and 2 hours Monday morning ( we didn't really get pday last week) to plan the travels for 150 missionaries because there was about 14 white washes ( where they take the 2 missionaries completely out of a area and put different missionaries who don't know the area or the friends) throughout the entire mission. Every area except for 4 areas had changes. Trying to manage keys for houses and SIM cards for everyone going to a completely new area was quite the headache. President also opened an area where we didnt have a house or a SIM card or anything without giving any notice to anyone so we had to get a rent contract and a SIM card and everything in 2 days for the missionaries that were getting sent out to the new area. But we got it done and hopefully there's not another crazy transfer soon.

We are teaching the wife of  a less active member. We visit them usually last in the day and the member, Jose, drives us to our house and then he starts working for Uber. That man is the craziest driver I think I've ever driven with. I'll put a video on my google photos but it doesn't do it justice. We've almost taken out motorcycles and people crossing the street but we haven't had to do any baptisms for the dead so it's all good.
That's what's been going on this week and a bit of last week!
