It Started With A Phone Call

How is everyone doing this fine day? I apologize for not writing an email last week. We got super busy. But things have been shaken up! I am no longer in Filidelfia, I escaped the heat for now. 2 Mondays ago in Filidelfia, my companions and I were getting our hair cut when we got a call from President. He said he needed to talk to me, so I walked outside to talk. He started by asking me how everything was in Filidelfia, I said,' All was super good, but I'd had a lot of time there.' He says,' Yes, that's very true." I jokingly ask him if the call is to tell me I'm leaving to be a secretary. He pauses and answers," Yes, Elder Kirby, that's exactly why I'm calling you. Can you leave tomorrow?"

Anyways now I'm an office secretary in San Jose. I've got quite a bit more responsibilities, but it's quite fun to see people come in and see everyone. And the apartment is huge so that is nice too. I'm over all the technology things. The area is completely different, we are in the mountains and all of our area is uphill. I hope I get used to it soon. The city is completely different. There is weird stuff but just different weird stuff. For example, two old ladies hotboxing a single cab pickup and teens making out in public parks.

We are starting the rainy season, so forgetting your umbrella is a mistake. Yes, it has happened once or twice.
Last pday was so much fun! We went down to Puntarenas and visited the monkey house! There were monkeys climbing all over us! We were right by the beach, so we goofed around and played soccer on the beach. One of the guys from the monkey house regeised us and brought us some coconuts to drink after we played!

The ward here is awesome! There are lots of super good members that help out a ton with the mission work! We had a baptism of Keisy and Tyler on Sunday, and it was so awesome! As we were finishing up, 2 returned missionaries that we knew came at the end! It was cool to see what they've been up to these last few months and how they're doing.
While we were eating lunch in ReadyPizza (costa rica little caesars) some random redneck came up to us and told us with the most serious face," Say a prayer for Trump '' It was super random and in perfect english. No, we haven't said that prayer yet, but we will soon.
