I'm Running Out Of Things To Put As A Subject Of These Emails

Wow, it's already 2024. Crazy. But this week has been really good. Last pday was pretty lame because we stayed in the house all day, but I did get a lot done around the house. This week, we had companion exchanges. We went to a pizza place for lunch, and some random guy dressed in all white walks into the pizza place and pulls out a violin, and just starts playing it for everyone in the restaurant. He was just a happy, easy-going guy. Companion exchanges in La Cruz were really awesome. It's a really cool area, and there's a lot of wind, so you stay pretty cool throughout the day! Elder Preston is from Orem, and we talked about a lot of stuff from back home, like Purple Turtle and Taco Amigo! We found out about our new mission president that is coming at the end of July! So we will see how that goes! Back in our area after companion exchanges,  we found some kids playing soccer in the road, and we challenged them to a game, and we told them if we won, then they'd get baptized. 2 elders against 8 or 9 children in a one lane road is pretty difficult, so we ended up losing. But if we see them again, we will challenge them again and see how it goes. We baptized Olivia this week! She has backed out of bring baptized once or twice, so we were unsure about this time. The story: We went over one day, and she said she didn't want to get baptized, so we removed the date. We thought we should stop by a few days later so we go and we start with a prayer. Then, she literally just tells us she's changed her mind and wanted to get baptized in February. So we asked her if she wanted to get baptized on Sunday, and she said yes! So we had like 5 days to plan out the baptism, and she got baptized on Sunday!
So I'm putting a picture on my photos, but I need to explain it. The picture just looks like a blanked draped over a car, but there's a story. We were having a  lesson with some members, and halfway through, a lady pulled up in her little sedan to buy one of those old, thick TVs from the members. It wouldn't fit in the trunk, so we tried lifting it into the front seat, and it wouldn't fit in the doorway. So what ended up happening was we cut down an old hammock and wrapped the TV in the hammock and putting it on the roof of the car and tying the ends of the hammock together in the inside of the car. Who knows if it ended up staying. I'll have to find out if i talk to the member again. One of the questions we got this week was," in who's name was christ baptized?" I'm not sure but something for your studys!
But that's the week! Hope everyone is doing well!
