Still In Costa Rica

How's everyone doing? Costa Rica is still good. Last P-day I ate an entire Little Caesars pizza and half of a 2 liter Coke. Why? I honestly don't know. Just kind of did it and then went and played some basketball. And you can probably guess how that went. We get a lot of opportunities to help some of the kids that we are teaching with their English homework. It goes ok but I realize that I can't teach English very well. It's been pretty hard contacting and finding new people but we keep knocking doors and keep trying. Discouraging but there's not much I can do to make people listen or take a Book of Mormon so I don't worry too much. We have a lot of references that we've contacted so we will see how that goes. But we do have a baptism date coming up soon. Food is still super delicious. Recently I tried some Cas drink. "Cas fruits have an astringent, tart, and sour flavor mixed with a subtle sweetness, reminiscent of a grapefruit crossed with lemon." It was in a lemonade type drink and it was really good. It apparently only grows in Central America. Had some chili this week too, which was a surprise. We gave a consecrated oil blessing to one of the members and it was really spiritual and I could feel the spirit so clearly. Me and Elder Scott made some Gallo Pinto ourselves and it was honestly super good. We had so much extra but it tasted authentic. We went to a member's house to see how he was doing. He wasn't there but his mom was outside and we helped her with some of her yard work. Cut some grass with a pair of scissors but it was honestly kind of satisfying. I'll buy a machete soon for some of the bigger stuff.  I miss American music so much. I hear it passing by restaurants or people will be playing it in their house as we pass by. I'll listen to so much music when I get back. Apparently there was an eclipse but there was a cloud covering so we didn't really see it. For one of our Zone Nights, (over zoom) we had to reenact gospel pictures with just what things we had around the house and send them to the group chat and we would vote on who did it best. We did pretty good but our ZLs are super funny and they won almost every time. But that's pretty much it for this week. Spanish is slowly coming.
